Good value eating in Australia
|
Good value eating can mean many different things to different people. It might mean a perfect meal of fish and chips at a dockside café for $7 or it could be the fixed price meal at less than $150 a head at the fabulous Tetsuya’s in Sydney. Expensive meals don’t necessarily represent good value, neither do cheap meals. We have eaten some extremely bad food in restaurants at both ends of the spectrum.Because there has been a lot of debate in Australia in recent months generated by some of the top restaurants in Sydney pushing main course prices around the $70 mark, we decided to search out what we believe is currently good value for money in Australian restaurants.
