Diana Kennedy

Diana Kennedy is English by birth but moved to Mexico when she married a journalist working for the New York Times.

Later, living in New York, she met Craig Claiborne who promoted both her cooking courses and her writings on Mexican food. This was the start of her fame.

She maintains a house in Zitácuaro in the central Mexican state of Michoacán where she does most of her writing.

She is a prolific author and her books provide a real insight into the complex cuisine of Mexico.
