The Villa Dora estate lies near the village of Terzingo on the slopes of Mount Vesuvius in the Campania region of Italy. Here the volcanic soils give a mineral intensity to the organically farmed wines. The wines are produced under the Lacryma Christi del Vesuvio DOC. Some of the wines you should try include the Vigna del Vulcano Bianco which is crafted from Falanghina and Coda di Volpe in stainless steel vats and has aromas of stone fruit, lemon and white flowers and the smoky Gelsonero Rosso which is a blend of the fascinating Aglianico grape and Piedirosso.
