Charcuterie Aninat is a delightful, authentic charcuterie maker and store in the centre of the village of Hérépian deep in the Languedoc in the hills behind Montpellier. It is here that they make such wonderful local delicacies as Bougnettes (a meat ball made from left-over pigs meat and intestines) and tubs of Friton (a 'spread' made from pig offal). They also make great sausage seche, boudin noir, jambon de Montagne, Poitrine Salee, and jambon cru.
