Noir is our favourite place to grab a quick breakfast and good coffee in Malmo. It is a place frequented mainly by locals because it is slightly away from the area where the tourist congregate.
It is the type of place we feel very comfortable in. No pretension, charming service, simple food and friendly customers - so friendly that when things got busy one of the customers brought our coffee and baguette out to our table.
The expresso coffee was good for this part of the world and the freshly squeezed orange juice was fine. A simple breakfast of a well-made baguette filled with cheese, ham and rocket was a perfect and very satisfying way to start the day.
