Located in the midst of a real food precinct, Phillipa's is arguably Melbourne best bakery. There are a small number of tables from where you can sample pastries and cakes in-house but if you're in search of a loaf of bread as lovingly produced as if it was made at home, then you're sure to find it here. It's especially recommended for Italian-style country loaves. Phillipa's also has great biscuits and a range of preserves and chutneys .
