If you are in Seattle it's worth travelling over Lake Washington to the quiet and relaxing Café Juanita just for chef Holly Smith's Parmesan rind-simmered soup with house-made corzetti. We thought it was one of the best soups we have tried in a long time!
However all of the Italian-inspired dishes will tempt you. Rabbit braised in Arneis with pickled dwarf peaches and scallops with zolfini beans are both brilliantly executed dishes. The service is relaxed but professional and the wine selection extensive. And desserts such as Marsala macerated figs with tegola D'Aosta and vanilla mascarpone will be sure to tempt you.
