Unless the sign is out you will experience some difficulty finding this gem. As you turn from Silom Road into Convent, keep to the right. About 100 metres along Convent you will see a laneway. Walk along this lane and at the end on the right you will finally see the sign marking the entrance to Indigo.
It is both a bar and a restaurant. We didn't eat in the restaurant so can't comment on its fare, but had a very pleasant couple of hours in the bar. We were, in fact, only going to have one drink and then continue on our quest for great food places, however just as we walked in the door the sky opened up and a torrential September rainstorm unleashed its burden on Bangkok. The rain is always heavy here - but this was special. Two hours later on the way to another restaurant our taxi had to forge its way through streets deeply covered with flood waters that just couldn't get away.
But back to Indigo. It is a large and comfortable space with wide doors that open out onto a courtyard. An unusual feature (for Bangkok) is that it has a range of good wines by the glass at a price that won't make you choke on your drink! The wine prices compared to food prices here are completely over the top.
We had a red from Minervois which went nicely with a snack of saucisson served with some really very good bread.
So, if you are looking for a place to relax and wind down at the end of a hard day sampling the delights of the street stalls around Bangkok, this is a great, centrally-located place to try.
