Sugarloaf Ridge has launched itself onto the Tasmanian market with a bang!
Vines were planted in 1999 but it wasn't until 2006 that people started talking about their wines, especially the savoury Pinot Noir. And then it became known that they had plantings of Lagrein and Viognier (grapes from Italy and our beloved Rhone Valley respectively).
The vineyard covers around 2 hectares and is owned by Simon and Isobel Stanley.
