Four hundred and fifty teas from 32 countries is a very good reason for taking the time to visit one of the Mariage Freres stores in Paris.We have very specific requirements for a tea shop we visit. They must have a very good selection of semi-fermented oolong teas. Mariage Freres have the wonderful Tung Ting Jade from Formosa, oolongs from Anhui on mainland China, Yunnan D'Or and Fenghuang Dancong. We also have a passion for the single-estate high-grown Darjeeling teas. Here you can find the prestigious Castelton, Margaret's Hope and Namring among many others.They also have the wonderful Gyokuro green tea from Japan that is shaded for its final stages of growth.You can purchase tea to take away or you can enjoy a tea and some sandwiches in one of the upstairs rooms.
