Graciano is a low-yielding, high-quality red Spanish grape variety. This grape is used to produce some of the best Gran Reservas of the Rioja region even though it is highly tannic at first. It is often blended with Tempranillo.
It is known by other names including Morrastel in nearby Languedoc, Courouillade and, in California, Xres.
