Clos du Rouge Gorge Vin de Pays des Côtes Catalanes
Wine
Country: France

Clos du Rouge Gorge Vin de Pays des Côtes Catalanes is made from the Carignan grape and weighs in at just 12% alcohol (how refreshing after all those new world blockbusters).
Cyril Fhal wants to produce traditional wines of the area so he turns his back on the Roussillon-Villages appellation available to his village of Latour de France which requires at least 30% of Syrah or Mourvedre to qualify.
He also produces a fine Macabeo under the same label. His vines are tended using biodynamic viticulture.
