The Waterbrook Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon shows that you don't have to pay a fortune to buy an elegant, well-structured Cabernet Sauvignon in the United States. We came across this label on one of our many trips to Seattle and seek it out as an example of fine north-west wine making with its blackcurrant and spice flavours and fine, lingering tannins.
The Waterbrook Winery was established in Washington's Columbia Valley (actually in the Walla Walla region) in 1984 by Eric Rindal and he has been turning out good value, fine wines ever since.
