The Tikal Amorío Altos de Mendoza is a fine example of what can be done with the Malbec grape when it is grown at relatively high altitude (around 1000 metres). The luscious, fruity wine starts with flavours of plum and cherry and moves through to an elegant, long finish. We can see why they have this love affair with Malbec.
