The Clos de Nouys produces some of the best Vouvray wines from old Chenin Blanc vines.
This semi-dry wine has a good mouth feel being reasonably full bodied but balanced by a pleasing light crispness. The colour is pale yellow and the aroma highlights the sweetness with overtones of honey and stone fruit.
Try it with seafood, but we think that the slight sweetness also means it works well as an aperitif.
