Wines from the Quincy appellation vary in quality, but the wine marketed under the Domaine Adele Rouze label, by a young winemaker is showing a lot of potential. The Sauvignon Blanc has a nice acidity and has aromas of grapefruit and gooseberries.
The characters of the wine are helped by the sandy soils as well as the age of the vines with some being over eighty years old and most approaching at least 60 years.
Try this wine with cold seafood, especially, say, a crab salad or a lobster sandwich.
