Cremant d'Alsace is a wine appellation in the Alsace region of France that produces wonderful sparkling wines. The term Cremant is used for any dry sparkling wine produced outside the Champagne production area.
The permitted grape varieties are Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc, Auxerrois, Riesling, Tokay, Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir.
