Cotes de Duras is a wine appellation in the South West France region of France not too far from the famous Bordeaux wine region.
The permitted grape varieties are Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Malbec for red wines and Semillon, Sauvignon Blanc, Muscadelle and Ugni Blanc for white wines. Some of the Sauvignon Blanc wines produced here are excellent value for money.
