Condrieu is a tiny wine appellation (only 25 hectares) at the northern end of the Rhone appellation area. It sits on the western bank of the Rhone in the communes of Limony, Chavanay, Malleval, Saint-Michel-sur-Rhone, Saint-Pierre-de-Boeuf, Verin and Condrieu. Some beautiful white wines produced only from the Viognier grape are produced here.
