Domaine de Mourchon sits above the stunning village of Seguret in the Rhone Valley not too far from Chateauneuf-du-Pape where the vines are tended by Scottish owner Walter McKinley. The Cotes du Rhone Villages Seguret Tradition blends Grenache, Shiraz, Carignan and Cinsault into a refined, powerful food wine that just begs for a plate of roast lamb with rosemary.Remember that the Cote du Rhone appellation is tiered with Cote du Rhone being the base level appellation then a group of villages being able to display Cote du Rhone Villages on the label and then the next level is where one of a number of specific village names can also be displayed. In this case "Côtes du Rhône Villages Séguret" is the name of the appellation.Domaine de Mourchon is featured in the Florence Hernandez book entitled Wine Tours in the South of France.
