A product of the Janot distillery which was founded in 1928 by Alfred Maunier and produces a range of pastis products including Pastis Janot, Pastis Raimu and Le Pastis Bleu.
This pastis is made to a very old recipe in the possession of Maunier. Like the Henri Bardouin and Jean Boyer Sauvage, this is made from a wide array of herbs and spices leading to its characteristic complex flavour.
