There's a lot to like about the Willakenzie Willamette Valley Pinot Noir. It is produced in a stunningly beautiful part of Oregon. The vines are tended using sustainable principles including the use of seaweed for fertilizer. The resultant wine is produced in a gravity-fed winery where the wine is left to ferment in open tanks with punch-down occurring each day. The wine is then left to mature in a mixture of new and old French oak.
The wine exhibits lovely black cherry flavours, velvet texture and a long, strong finish.
