The Dominio del Plata Malbec Ben Marco from Argentina's rising stars Susana Balbo and Pedro Marchevsky is a big wine without being a brutish wine. It is made to last but without being too aggressive when young.
The grapes used are Malbec (predominantly), Bon and Cabernet Franc (traces only). It displays considerable finesse and relies on elegance rather than force to grab the drinkers attention - in other words exactly the style of wine we prefer.
The vineyard has been designed with sustainable agricultural principles in mind and care and attention is applied to every aspect of the production process - not surprising considering the experience the two owners bring with them.
