The Domaine le Murmurium cellar door outlet does not have the style and panache of the nearby Chateau Pesquie, however it is somehow more connected to the vineyards than its more elegant neighbour.
You reach this outlet by heading out of the small village of Mormoiron.
We like this domaine for two reasons. First they produce some stunningly good wines, The second is that they provide wine making assistance to another of our favourite producers in the region, namely Domaine de Cascavel.
Their Cotes du Ventoux red is gutsy, refined, displays fine tannins and will last for many years making it a good medium-term cellaring proposition.
