The Chateau d'Aiguilhe Cotes de Castillon is a big, plummy wine made from a combination of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and, mainly, Merlot that exhibits fine tannins and restrained levels of alcohol at just 12.5%.
Cotes de Castillon is an appellation within Bordeaux and this domaine is an offshoot of the famous Chateau Canon La Gaffeliere in Saint-Emillon.
