Grosset Watervale Riesling

The Clare Valley north of the South Australian city of Adelaide is one of the premiere regions for the production of fine Rieslings in Australia.
In fact, Riesling has adapted well to Australia with many regions including the Adelaide Hills, the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria and all of Tasmania producing fine examples of this wine.
But few winemaker share the skill of Geoffrey Grosset. He is the king of Riesling in Australia.
This wine is produced from a single high altitude Clare Valley vineyard. It is lemony and flinty, with a good acidic backbone and long, lingering finish.
