We spent many long hours working in the skyscraper next to the Crown Princess. One of the benefits was that we could escape to the food haven of the Hunan Gardens for lunch.This understated restaurant has some of the best dim sum in Kuala Lumpur. It also has some of the best congee. We would thoroughly enjoy sitting with our newly found friends at a large table and sampling the range of dim sum or, if we were really busy, simply ordering a bowl of excellent duck egg congee which was the perfect comfort food to help us through the long afternoon and early evening.
