Chateau la Canorgue lies in the Cotes du Luberon appellation which stretches east from Avignon to Apt through the Luberon National Park. There are many fine wines now being produced in this area as smart winemakers from Burgundy and Alsace move into the area realising that the terroir is capable of supporting some great wines.
All of their organically grown wines are very good but we particularly like the elegant Blanc de Blanc made from Clairette and Bourboulenc grapes.
Chateau la Canorgue is featured in the Florence Hernandez book entitled Wine Tours in the South of France.
