Yves Camdeborde has done it again, creating this tiny bar serving drinks and tapas as a place to wait for a table at next-door Le Comptoir. But you don't need to be seeking a table at Le Comptoir. It is also a great place to drop in for an interesting natural wine and some great tapas at any time of the day or night.We were excited by the range of interesting, natural wines available here. A Pet Nat from the Bretons in the Loire was an almost feral drink of great charm. A white from Olivier Lemasson was equally beguiling. All the wines are kept in a special temperature controlled cabinet making sure that they are at the correct temperature for serving and the correct temperature to ensure that these living wines are not damaged by heat.And there is nothing nicer than dropping in here late at night to be served a glass of Marcel Lapierre Beaujolais poured from a magnum!
