Taart van m'n Tante. What a place! The large plants outside the door and the colour and movement inside tell you that you are heading for somewhere special. The tables are each decorated with a cake and absolutely genuine plastic or cloth flowers.You sit on one of the eclectic range of painted wooden chairs prior to deciding which of the great range of cakes you want to try.The conservative among you might like a Crostata made from bitter chocolate and hazelnut. But you might also like to be more experimental and try the Maanzaadtaart (Illegal tart) a light as air cake based on chocolate ganache, poppy seeds and other special substances.The staff are wonderful and the coffee is good. There is also funky accommodation available upstairs.
