Boucherie St Didier is the best butchers shop in Avignon. There is always a queue and the meat is very good. We also like the charcuterie and the terrines that are made here.It is located in the heart of Place Saint-Didier. Even if you're not shopping to cook and can't take advantage of its excellent cuts of meat and pre-prepared dishes like caillettes and ratatouille. It's worth dropping in just to admire the choices and, even if you're travelling with the most limited of equipment, you can find a way to enjoy some jambon cru, saucisson, smoked salmon, and house-made charcuterie.
