We are indeed fortunate to have this lovely shop in Hobart. Jefferson's is a regular stop on our food gathering circuit. This is where we head when we have run out of black first flush Castleton Estate or the organic Makaibari Estate Darjeelings. Or when we feel the need for a soothing semi-fermented Formosan high-grown Oolong. Or when we need to replenish our free-radicals with an unfermented (oxidised) green Gyokura Hikari from Japan. They even have the rare white Pai Mu Tan with its huge downy leaves.If you are unsure about what you want, then simply ask. The shop is located inside the Bank Arcade you will find in Liverpool St between Elizabeth St and Argyle St.
