La Cave des Olyviers in the Les Halles market in Avignon serves two purposes. It is a place for Alexandre Gerbe to sell the olive oil he produces from his olive grove near Les Baux and also to sell the wine that he is so knowledgeable about. On every trip to the area we always call in to spend some time selecting from his small but perfectly-chosen wine selection and learning about new and interesting producers.

It is also a good place to locate some of the local stars such as Domaine de la Citadelle from the nearby Luberon or stars from further away such as Jean Foillard's delicious "Cote du Py" Morgon.
