The 2 Bud Spur vineyard was established at Glaziers Bay in 1996 by Phil Barker and later sold to Craig Mundy and Karen Miller, the current operators. They produce Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay from their 2.2 hectare vineyard. There are also a few vines of Gewurztraminer and Gamay. The new label showing a two bud spur is elegant and striking.We particularly like the Sauvignon Blanc which was made by Neil Snare of Winstead Vineyard due to the floral notes and the strong acid backbone that provides structure and length.
