Les Cocottes is one of the most interesting places in Paris to drop into for a snack or a full-on lunch. Christian Constant certainly knows how to appeal to those who seek interesting, unfussy food at reasonable prices! This is where Christian Constant serves food to delight the foodies who flock here for real flavours. Staub pots are front and centre here. The flavours of the dishes are amazing. Whether we try the Crème de petit pois or the Emiette de Thon or the legendary Saute d'agneau au cumin, the dishes are exemplary. And the wines are good too. We tried a wonderful Macon Villages and a Morgon both made by Henry Fessey. Both were perfect with the food we were eating. And there are many more good choices available here if you are searching for natural wines. The Chablis from Alice and Olivier de Moor is a great wine of exceptional finesse as is the Anjou rouge from Rene and Agnes Mosse. There is usually an offering from the wonderful Domaine de Gramenon in Vinsobres and the Beaujolais from Yvon Metras. These are all great natural wines.
