Offida is a wine appellation in the northern part of the Marche region of Italy in the province of Ascoli Piceno.
The appellation covers a number of sub-appellations including a white made from the Pecorino grape (Offida Pecorino), another white made from the Passerina grape (Offida Passerina), a red based on Montepulciano and Cabernet Sauvignon (Offida Rosso) as well as a fortified Vin Santo.
The wines are usually served young and they are usually lower in alcohol than other similar wines and are valued for freshness and for pairing with food.
