Pouilly-Fume is a wine appellation that lies in the beautiful Loire Valley in France. Here some stunning flinty, white wines are made from the Sauvignon blanc grape. Particularly look for those produced by local guru, the late Didier Dagueneau whose wines are sought out by aficionados throughout the world.There is also an associated appellation called Pouilly-sur-Loire where whites wines are vinified from the Chasselas grape.
