Tiny Tant pour tant is firmly established as a favourite meeting place for food lovers in Launceston. The quality of the coffee teamed with the stunning cakes, breads and pastries make this a must-visit venue.Owners Jo and Paul Herbig have a passion for quality that shines through in all of their products. You can go here to buy any of the products to take away or you can sit and have a cup of coffee or a full breakfast or lunch. At breakfast we enjoy a cup of the excellent coffee and a plate of croissants and pain au chocolat, but there are other savoury dishes available such as an omelette with hot smoked baby salmon and mustard creamed leeks or hazelnut granola or soft poached eggs or scrambled eggs with bacon. At lunch the focus is very French with that French lunch favourite of a tartine based on beef, ham or goat cheese or a croque monsieur slathered with Heidi Gruyere or maybe a hearty winter dish such as braised lamb ragout.
