You will find Victoire bread in a number of restaurants around Sydney (including Neil Perry's) as well as in some classes on Qantas flights. It's almost a reason in itself for us to switch airlines!Nobody else seems to be able to achieve the incredible mixture of crustiness and sourness that the Victoire breads are characterised by. The biggest problem we have when we are served this bread in restaurants is that we eat too much of it.If you are visiting Sydney it is worth making the trip to Balmain to pay homage at the source. The shop also has cheese and a number of other food products available, but these are secondary to the bread in our view.
