This is THE place to go for all those hard to find specialty products and to learn more about how to use the products. There is something for everyone here. You can buy a range of the finest pastas and rice products. There is the fabulous range of Valrhona chocolate products. Elegant tubes of sospiri, baci di dama, tartufi, amaretti, torroncini and nugatelli now grace the shelves. Christine Manfield's range of curry bases and sauces are worth seeking out. The Giusti range of balsamic vinegars are there. The Belgian OAO organic product range (and particularly the Thai rice) with the packaging designed by the omnipresent Phillipe Starck (the man who designed the fabulous Felix bar and restaurant in the Peninsula Hotel, Hong Kong) is nice to grace a self-constructed food hamper for a special occasion.And the list goes on and on. You can buy Mariage Freres teas, Grilli olive oil, our favourite Lescure butter or the stunning Ravida sea salt. There are some tables out the back where you can enjoy a coffee and one of the best range of cheeses you can find in the temperature controlled room.No true foodie should visit Sydney without paying homage to this exciting store.
