Orizuru is a sushi bar in the Mure's complex on the Victoria Dock in Hobart. The seafood Iis sourced from Mure's but does not always live up to the expectations of freshness that you expect from a restaurant in such a great location. We wish they would get back to basics!Start with age dashi tofu, sugaki, some tempura and inari (luscious, sweet vinegared sushi rice, mushrooms and pickled ginger stuffed inside pockets of deep-fried tofu). Then share a platter of sashimi and nigiri sushi. You can then appreciate first hand, the benefits of eating sushi and sashimi in a building that also houses a fishmonger. Finish with green tea ice-cream. You can also order at Orizuru and then eat outside at one of the tables surrounding the Mures complex.
