The tree-lined streets of the French Concession in Shanghai make you think of Paris. This feeling is heightened as you walk past shop after shop of European designer clothes and luxury items.In a narrow lane of Huashan Lu there is a beautifully restored small hotel that is inviting, relaxing and full of charm. Here the Ming Dynasty meets the 21st century with beautiful Chinese furniture sitting side-by-side with sleek bathroom furniture, cable TV and high-speed internet connections.Each room is styled differently and affords a level of comfort that belies the relatively low cost.We can highly recommend this charming little haven.
