Argiolas Turriga is made from Cannonau, Malvasia Nera, Carignano and Bovale Sardo grapes grown in a single vineyard called Turriga. Cannonau is the local name for Grenache so the wine bears some similarities to the wines of the southern Rhone.
Since being awarded Tre Bicchieri by Gambero Rosso it has become quite expensive, but if you get a chance to sample some of this delectable wine it is worth the money.
