This is one of our favourite 'atmosphere' bars. We well remember one trip where we did a mad dash from Frankfurt airport to meet our friends in Lubeck - this is a serious drive. However on arriving and starting to enjoy a beer or two or three in this sixteenth century seaman's retreat, we felt totally relaxed.
