Sitting outside at Mecca Bah is a very relaxing experience. The service is efficient, the chairs comfortable and the Middle Eastern food is good.
Whether you order the slightly flattened orbs of bastilla dusted with cinnamon and icing sugar or the spicy Lebanese sausages with chick peas or the beetroot, rocket and yoghurt salad or the mussels that are deep fried in chick pea batter and served with almond skordalia or the famous roast pumpkin, chilli, pomegranate jam and fetta Turkish pizza you will be transported into a comfort zone that allows you to imagine that you are somewhere exotic.
We have regularly dined at Mecca in Southbank and have had a few meals at Mecca Bah in the sterile NewQuay development but we think that this site is well worth a visit.
