There are many fine hotels in Paris. Some of the most exclusive and ornate hotels in the world are to be found on the Right Bank. It is here that the Ritz, Hotel Bristol, the Hotel Plaza Athenee, Hotel de Crillon, the Hotel Meurice the ultra-trendy Pershing Hall cater for the needs of the very wealthy.
But there are hotels for the rest of us as well. Beautiful and elegant hotels such as Le Pavillion de la Reine in the Place des Vosges in the Marais (4th arrondissement), Relais Christine in the on the Left Bank in the 6th, the brand new Five Hotel on the edge of the 5th and 13th and the inexpensive Hotel Therese in the 1st. We also like the inexpensive, yet comfortable Hotel de la Sorbonne in the 5th opposite the entrance to the University.
